UPCOMING CLINIC'S October 2nd and 3rd - Shea Stewart Horsemanship Clinic About Shea: Shea Stewart has a long history of working with problems and issues people have with their horses. Shea trains from the horse's point of view and recognizes that horses are very emotional animals and works with that consideration in mind. Shea's colleagues include Harry Whitney, Ross Jacobs, and Peggy Cummings to name a few. She has her own training facility in Santa Cruz County and is invited to give clinics at Silver Fiddle Ranch on a regular basis (about 3 times during the summer, Fall, Winter and Spring as requested). Shea will be working with two PMU fillies owned by a regular clinic attendee. The fillies are making incredible progress. If you have a PMU mare or or baby this will be the clinic for you! If you are interested in auditing or bringing a horse to the clinic you can call Lola Blevins at 209-296-6936. About Debbie: Debbie's main focus is to teach others how to trim their own horses feet. She conducts trimming workshops and is in the process of writing her own "How to Trim" book. Debbie is planning to open a hoof care learning center, which will include organized trips to watch and learn from the wild horses here in Nevada. As with everything we do with our horses, support and information are a big part of how successful we will be. To all of Debbie's students who are now trimming on their own... Congratulations! Debbie is a strong proponent that horse owners can and do successfully trim their own horses. She also teach natural horsemanship... starting colts and teaching people to get handy with their horses. This includes handling of their feet. The combination of natural trimming and horsemanship makes for a great outcome! Don't miss Debbie's special workshop that will incorporate a little bit of everything Debbie does to help educate, inform and empower horse owners in natural ways to take care of their horses.
